I haven't looked up the definition of a sigma male before and only did so because I read an article from Australia's Sydney Herald where women were complaining that YouTube was recommending videos about Sigma Males to young men. If it's pissing off feminists then you know it must be a good thing. First, it's important to define what a sigma male is. He's a successful, independent & introverted man that's difficult to control or rule. If you know anything about women then you know they want you to be Independent but they don't want you to think independently. I've been a sigma male my entire life without even knowing it. I've a lifelong entrepreneur, I'm introverted and when women try taking control of my life I leave instead of bending the knee. I think women are attracted to Sigma males because they want to break their spirit. They want to take a man they desire to and turn him into a man that's undesirable and then blame the man for changing. A sigma also has similar traits to an alpha male except he chooses to live outside the dominance hierarchy of society. The idea was that sigma males were rare but the rise of the internet allowing men to work anywhere and anytime has led to a rapid rise in men that refuse to bow down to corporations and women. Women are authoritarians that are not compatible with the sigma male that wants to do what he wants to do. Women want complete control over social norms and values and it drives them bananas that some men are figuring out ways to escape their pearl clutching hands. Besides complaining that YouTube was showing young men videos about Sigma Males that Australian article says that YouTube needs to do more to recommend videos to men to create the feminist future they want. That YouTube shouldn't show men the videos they want to see. But instead show them the videos women want them to see. I think they are worried that sigma males are made instead of born. From everything I've read so far it sounds like Sigmas are introverts that are high in personality trait openness because they are creative, willing to go on new adventures and want to do things their way. Most women tend to be attracted to sigma males due to their independent minds, self-sufficiency, and ability to control their lives without relying on anything or anyone. I think that's the case because they lack those qualities in themselves and opposites attract. Women always say they are looking for a man with a sense of humor the reason for that is because they don't have one themselves.
