An unidentified assailant often known as the Texarkana Phantom Killer committed a number of murders and assaults in Texarkana (Miller County, Arkansas, and Bowie County, Texas) through the spring of 1946. Five people were killed, and three were wounded. In this second and last part of the Texarkana Phantom series, Mike and Gibby explore the rumors surrounding the murders and the panic that ensued in the Texarkana area. In 2001, two years after Jill's murder, investigators were relieved to announce the case was all wrapped up. They'd charged a man who was later convicted at trial and sentenced to life imprisonment.
