Sonny Liston was one of the best and most dominant heavyweight boxers of all time. He won the championship in 1962. But, Liston had grown up hard and had turned to crime early on to make money. During his boxing days, he continued some of his criminal activities and had a number of mob connections. His death in 1970 remains clouded in mystery.
