#49 - Our First Hackathon And What We Learned From It

Inspired by the "20% project" famously once implemented by Google and other big names, we started to do hackathons at Simya. The idea is to devote some of our time to side projects and try to create something cool in the process. Last week, we did our first hackathon day (we call it "Awesome Time") and it was a great success.

In this episode, we cover

- How we came up with the idea of Awesome Time
- What to prepare if you want to implement it
- Our experience doing our first hackathon
- Was it worth it?
- Examples of what you can create during a hackathon
