LKE.22|Saprea, Saprea, Saprea + Synchronicity

(Trigger warning, read intro below).

This episode discusses how Saprea's team personally impacted my life and healing journey.

By sharing my experiences, I hope to help others in similar situations understand that they are not alone. If as a child you were been abused physically, emotionally and/or sexually then this episode is intended to aid in your healing process by underscoring the importance of Acknowledgment and the Powerful Position it puts you in as well as giving you a window into another experience.

Remember our show is intended to be "everyday" meaning commonplace, ordinary, regular, raw, basic…. These are just the kinds of human conversations and experiences that we often find the most growth from. Loving Kindness Everyday is an everyday language show therefore you will hear experiences from people who might use profanity or lewd language. This is an everyday, show and helps others in their Understanding of the Divine flow by Displaying and Discussing our collective life experiences. I, Kindness Calloway am very vulnerable and open with you all in hopes that by documenting and authentically revealing my healing journey that it will Encourage you, to find self-Kindness, self-Love and self- Compassion too.
Most importantly I want you to know you are not alone.

If this is your story too (like Adam and Aaron and Alexander) then…

(especially men)

I hope this episode helps mend.
the broken or bruised parts
Within

…and I hope that the sharing of my story helps you understand the importance of simple Acknowledgment and the Powerful position that it puts you in.

Saprea, Saprea, Saprea, what's that? First, we'll start with an short introduction and a poem/thank you to Jocelyn Vaughn who I met thanks to Caroline the amazing victim advocate who was working for the Miami-Dade Police Department when I reported (had my brother arrested).

Caroline, the victim advocate helped me greatly by patiently helping me and pointing me in the right direction (therapy, services, support groups) helping me to find footing and get the long awaited help I needed to begin my healing journey.

Saprea is one of the organizations that Caroline led me to and it's how I met Jocelyn Vaughn and Jessica Bradley, the two amazing women who I'm blessed to call 'friend' and are the main featured voices on this episode.

Saprea is committed to leading the charge against child sexual abuse and I want you to support them and show them love. The organization offers free resources and services made available thanks to the support of their donors and you can help them by donating a dollar or two.

Saprea is not affiliated with a religious organization or church they are helping by using scientifically proven, practical methods for confronting and overcoming child sexual abuse.

Note: While there is laughter and joviality during this episode it's important for everyone to understand that child sexual abuse can affect many people in different ways. If you or someone you know is affected by this episode please consider taking action and showing yourself compassion by getting support. If you don't contact Saprea look for your local community support or consider Saprea's at home services like the support groups and the webinar (led by Jessica Bradley who is a featured voice in this podcast episode).
