Rick was inspired to travel by his globe-trotting grandmother and a visit to the World Expo as a child. He spent over a month in Bucharest during Ceaușescu reign in the early 1980s. And during a 6 month backpacking trip through Europe he crossed Checkpoint Charlie and toured Tito's Yugoslavia. He also shares some of his favorite travel experiences in the Galapagos and on safari.
