On this episode of 2 White Lights, I interviewed one of the best 74 kg lifters in the world, Ricky “The Villian” Cho (@pugthegoat) and we discussed his persona as the “villain” and if he tries to lean into that persona, if he has any true ill will towards any lifter, and if his trash talking is intentional. We also discuss how Jonnie Candito influenced his start in powerlifting/fitness, how the sport is growing into more of a spectator sport, his performance at Raw Nationals, his future goals in USPA/USAPL/IPF (big records coming?), and we play “word association”.
