240 - The Quick Fix Mentality In School Harms All Learners

Building Capacity. That's it. Too often school systems take a quick fix mentality to increase student data without really following through the entire process or initiative. As Alli and Peter discuss the Dunning Kruger effect in the learning journey, they open up missed opportunities along the journey. Many of those missed opportunities are in building lasting capacity in programming and learning environments.

Alli Privitt and Peter Hostrawser dive into missed opportunities in education to really understand where our students strengths lie. In this series opener, Alli and Peter set up the conversation around going beyond the score in education and what opportunities are missed.
