ERS Monograph: COPD in the 21st Century

ERS Monograph: COPD in the 21st Century

"COPD is evolving. But we can manage it better and we should manage it better." Guest Editors Peter M.A. Calverley and James P. Allinson join Dorina Esendagli (Monograph Editorial Board member) to discuss their issue of the Monograph: COPD in the 21st Century. COPD is widely acknowledged as a leading cause of death and, in this podcast, Peter and James suggest that incidence and mortality may actually increase further, as understanding and diagnosis improve. They also look to the future, highlighting ways in which care can be enhanced through greater personalisation and removal of stigma.
