#56 Tip:Biology, Dyslexia and Notes from audio

We continue on with our Parent coffee time live on Facebook with parents of dyslexia. This time we talk about the tendency of students to pursue courses that lean towards their M-strengths or Material Reasoning. In our case, a lot of the BulletMap Academy students want to take up Biology as a degree. One particular student was quite pleased that she could choose Biology as a subject. However, she was discouraged when her teacher assigned them to read 10 pages of text from a book within a short span of time. This goes to show that without a strategy to deal with the huge amount of reading, a dyslexic student could be thrown off course from their dream.
