ANNOUNCEMENT: Filmmaker Needed for Greenland Expedition ASAP

*ANNOUNCEMENT*

Filmmaker needed for expedition to Greenland as soon as possible.


What:

The trip is a 6 week ski and mountaineering expedition to climb first summits in Eastern Greenland to film documentary about climate change. The filmmaker was recently injured and cannot go.

What’s included:

For professional filmmakers: All costs are covered, including: transport and food, extensive insurance that includes search and rescue cover. All shared equipment (tent, stove, emergency rations, multiple first aid supplies)


For non filmmakers: You'll need to pay your own way, although highly discounted and filming responsibilities will be shared among the group.


Not included:

Own personal gear: sleeping bag, skis, climbing harness, etc.

Film equipment


Filmmaker needs to be:

  1. Fit - You will ski tour over 300 miles pulling your own sled weighing up to 100 kilos (220 lbs) at the start.
  2. Motivated - Tom and James really believe in this project and the documentary. This will not be easy.
  3. Easy going - Six weeks in a tent is testing at the best of times! James and Tom are pretty lighthearted so hope to find someone who would fit that style.
