Ep. 602: Ironman Champion - Ben Hoffman

Ep. 602: Ironman Champion - Ben Hoffman

At a young age, Ben and his parents pedaled all over the US on extended bike tours. He credits these early endurance events as part of the foundation that led to his ability to outlast his opponents in traditional sports. However, it wasn’t until college at the University of Montana in Missoula that Ben discovered triathlons in a book while traveling to Alaska.

Once he got back to school he signed up for the local triathlon and was instantly hooked. Ben immediately set his sights on becoming pro. Since then, Ben has won seven full Ironman races, seven 70.3 Ironman races, came in 2nd in the Ironman World Championship in 2014 and 4th in both 2016 and 2019.
