Daniel has struggled with depression for years, even getting to the point he didn’t want to live anymore. After his most recent suicide attempt, he knew things needed to change, quickly. His friend decided to introduce him to bicycles. Little did they know, he'd soon fall in love with the freedom of riding and set out on a bicycle adventure to every contiguous US state to raise awareness for suicide prevention and to connect veterans, like himself, with each other and a greater sense of community. Ruben Martinez wanted to do something that "forced" he and his friend to always be able to hang out. The idea they came up with? Glamping Hub, a travel booking platform similar to Airbnb, but for unique outdoor accommodations that give guests direct access to Mother Nature.  The idea grew! Anna-Marie Watson grew up in an outdoor-loving, adventurous family. The adventures continued as she served nearly a decade in the British Army. Upon leaving the military, she knew she did not want a standard job and "normal" life. So, what did she do? She flew to New Zealand to bicycle the country. This started a series of adventures that led her to compete in the world half Ironman, running (and winning second place female) the Marathon De Sables, and many other adventures. Today’s guest, Brandi Mueller, is an avid diver and underwater photographer. She’s dived in over 30 countries and works as an instructor for much of the year. Her passion for diving is infectious and her expertise has been featured in dozens of publications all over the world. Recently, she co-authored a book about her experience diving to see an underwater airplane graveyard where 150 American airplanes were dumped at the end of WWII in the lagoon of Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. The haunting pile of flightless planes were surprisingly photogenic and getting the location was half the adventure. Enjoy!
