Inside Edition reports…73 percent of America is dealing with snow and in many parts of the country it’s dangerous because winter storms have knocked out power…leaving millions in the cold and the dark. The model of the redesigned Air Force One that former President Trump showed off in the Oval Office has been spotted at Mar-a-Lago. Why social media’s been busy talking about Chrissy Teigen’s lips. And it doesn’t snow much in Austin, Texas, so one guy grabbed the opportunity to ski right on a road! A new poll shows 7 in 10 Americans plan to watch tonight's presidential debate and 30% say it will help them decide how they're going to vote. The stakes truly couldn't be higher for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, they will be face-to-face. Or more accurately, fingertip to fingertip - the podiums are that close! And you may recall the two Spirit Airline gate agents who freaked out and started screaming at frustrated passengers who's flights had been delayed. The agents were fired, and now they're breaking their silence in an exclusive national TV interview with our Jim Moret. Plus, everyone knows what sank the Titanic…and when a ship hit a much smaller iceberg in Alaska - you couldn't blame passengers for thinking of that other boat. And he had run in lots of marathons and was a big Disney fan - so when Disneyland announced a half marathon he was eager to go, despite temperatures being over 100. Then just as he was approaching the finish line – tragedy as he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest. Ironically, just the day before the race, he posted a video about the California heat.    To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It was the vacation that changed one woman's life forever. She was swimming in the Florida Gulf when she was attacked by a shark, losing her hand and nearly losing her life. However, this is a story of gratitude for little miracles that enabled the mother of three to live - the nurses who just happened to be on the beach, and the first responders who came to her rescue. Steven Fabian has our exclusive interview. And it was a near disaster at a lobster roll eating contest when one of the contestants started choking. The good Samaritan who saved the day performing the Heimlich wasn't just anyone, it was the governor! Plus, a star player for the Miami Dolphins says he's still trying to figure out what happened just before the team's home opener yesterday. While on his way to Dolphins stadium he was pulled over and put in handcuffs. However, he did manage to get to the game on time, and it looked like he was mocking what happened after scoring a touchdown. And in roughly 24 hours, all eyes will be on what may be the only Presidential Debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The two have never met, and before they take the stage there's already a bit of a height war - at least from the former president.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. We're learning that the 14-year-old accused of killing four people inside his Georgia high school was interviewed by the FBI last year in connection with alleged threats of a school shooting.  Meantime, a mom is speaking with Les Trent about texts her son sent her while the shots were being fired.  And it is an unthinkable medical mistake. A man went in for a spleen operation, and died after surgery. His family says it's because the surgeon removed his liver instead. Plus, you've heard the term needle in a haystack...well finding a three-year-old lost in a massive corn field is just as challenging. And the NFL season gets underway today with the reigning Super Bowl champs - the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Baltimore Ravens. Taylor Swift will be there, and she's being credited with increasing the league's female fandom. As Ann Mercogliano reports, she's also boosting the number of ladies taking part in fantasy football.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. The school year is barely underway and there's already been a shooting. It happened at a high school in Georgia where students were evacuated in scenes that have become far too common place in America. The suspect in custody is just 14-years-old. And they signed up for a cruise to specific beaches in the Caribbean. Then the itinerary of the Carnival ship Vista suddenly changed because of engine trouble. As Les Trent reports, having their vacation destination switched led to something of a mutiny among the passengers. Plus, he grew up in Manhattan and that's where he's going to college. Today was Barron Trump's first day and, with Secret Service in tow, he reported for school at NYU. And if you’re a parent would you go to Disney World without your children? This mom did, and as Ann Mercogliano reports, the internet gave her an earful. A mom at home put her two young children to bed and takes a relaxing bath. Then she hears intruders breaking in, so she runs in her towel to sound the alarm the only way she could - through her Ring camera! And George Clooney and Brad Pitt did a little dance when they received a long standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival. They are there promoting their new movie, but Clooney also took time to speak about the pivotal role he played in President Biden's decision to step down...and he's talking about what happened for the very first time.  Plus, the move that's being called the ultimate spoiled loser. A tennis player at the U.S. Open totally ignored a ball girl as she tossed balls in her direction so she could serve. Today the player is issuing an apology saying the only person who did something wrong was herself. And Karen Read the woman accused of fatally running over her ex-boyfriend, a Boston area police officer, spent her Labor Day speaking to supporters who held protests across Massachusetts as she awaits a new trial. Read claims she was framed by other cops. Now there's a new allegation of police misconduct in the same Boston suburb, this time involving a police officer accused of killing his pregnant mistress. The police officer has pled not guilty.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. It's a law important to remember as the new school year gets underway. When a school bus is stopped with its flashing red lights, traffic in both directions must stop, for obvious safety reasons. In some areas, failure to do so can land you behind bars. That’s exactly where some frustrated parents would like to see the people they've filmed as they rush past their kids' busses. And a13-year-old had just finished swimming in a Florida creek when an alligator lunged from the water and bit him. Not only did this kid not freak out - Les Trent says he batted the critter away and then calmly called for help. Plus, as a dispatcher she handles emergency calls all day long. However, one call came from someone she knows very well. It was her little boy telling her, their house was on fire. And there’s no quitting for this lady! She's a maternity ward nurse who delivers baby after baby. However, one little girl born more than twenty years ago turned out to be extra special. She's now her daughter-in-law! Donald Trump's running mate J.D. Vance is causing a stir - by trying to criticize Kamala Harris' big CNN interview by posting an infamous word salad moment from a Miss Teen USA pageant.  What he says he didn't know about is, all the mockery the beauty queen faced 16-years-ago made her contemplate ending her life. Now as Ann Mercogliano reports, she's not happy Vance has brought it back in the headlines. And he was a popular dog breeder known for his Doberman puppies. Now he's been found dead, and ten of his puppies are missing. It's believed he was targeted by someone who wanted to sell the dogs which cost $4,500 apiece. Now as Les Trent reports, other breeders are jittery thinking they could be next. Plus, she lost everything in that historic flood that devasted Connecticut. However, there was one specific item the single mom was upset about the most - her son's sonogram photo that was swept down a raging river. Now in an incredible twist of fate, another woman found it, and you won't believe where! And she was on the jury in the double murder trial of disgraced lawyer Alex Murdaugh. However, she was kicked off before deliberations even started after she was accused of speaking about the case with her ex-husband. Now she's breaking her silence to Inside Edition about that, and why she became known as the "egg juror.” To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
