The New Jersey Devils challenged the reigning Stanley Cup champions once again. Unfortunately, they lost to the Florida Panthers 2-1 in a shootout. It's such a shame that a great battle came down to a shootout. At one point, Matthew Tkachuk laid a big hit on Nico Hischier. Those two have a history dating back to the 2022-23 season.
