In Part 2 Kelly interviews Allyson who was assaulted by a mentally ill woman on NYC streets in September 2021. The NYPD did not investigate. Police told her they don’t investigate misdemeanor harassment cases. This is a common theme being heard from victims.

In this episode, Kelly dives into the growing concern over police in NYC reportedly not writing reports or investigating misdemeanor assaults, leading to frustration among victims seeking justice. We also explore the alarming rise of attacks by mentally ill individuals in the city, raising questions about how to address the mental health crisis. Kelly also takes a closer look at Kendra's Law, a controversial measure that allows for court-ordered mental health treatment for individuals deemed a threat to themselves or others.
