Chapter 28:

• Rather than heading back to basgiath, Violet/Tairn join a drop off, she's not allowed to dismount.

• Catriona "looks" as Violet feels towards Xaden, jealousy increasing :(

• Cat says xaden has had 2 opportunities to get the luminary and had what the vicount wants.... Violet. Scene more upsetting the second time.

• Xaden tells violet something(forge luminary) is near Athbyne and violet thanks him for his honesty

Chapter 29:

• Vi figures out Cat before Xaden tells her but he didn't have a chance.

• Tairn builds up her confidence 🖤

• They talk about the Viscount Tercarus deal, she thinking about how much she loves him, he gives her a dagger

• They arrive at basgiath, tairn shares Andarna is still sleeping, violet says she will update him of her punishment

• Varrish and hench men find her almost to her room, Professor Kaori defends her, Rhiannon removes the dagger

• She shares the truth with Rhiannon.

Chapter 30:

• Tells her friends everything except for secrets that aren't hers to tell.

• Realizing that nevarre is burning the evidence.

• Ridoc knew about the journals in a sublevel vault.

• Barlowe is a changed man now, adored by many, they watch threshing for 1st yrs, sloane has a red dragon like Liam.

• I think Ridoc visits jesinia, Violet has watch duty, assassin's attack, i don't think these ones were venin, she is nearly taken out until a knife goes through his spine.

Chapter 31:

• Brennan book says most riders die from gravity.

• Jack Barlowe saved her, Ridoc finds her, Jesinia found the vault, need king Tauri's bloodline.

Chapter 32:

• Xaden gets updates since they last met, and the raid plan

• The gang brought Aaric, Xaden killed Alic the brother who attacked garrick on threshing and that was when Sgaeyl bonded him per the letter in ch 12.

• Begin heist, xaden doesn't camouflage lol, Xaden's is so cool, jesinia badass getting them to the vault.

Chapter 33:

• Knock out two guards, Aaric pulls violet through the wards.

• 2mins left and they got the books, blistered hand, they run.

Chapter 34:

• Excerpt: letter from Xaden to vi about his last conversation with his dad was an argument

• They all escaped

• They scatter, treat the hand, quinn can astral project as others to give an alibi, her signet is strong because her great aunt was bonded to her dragon.

• They make-out in the courtyard, xaden takes Warwick's journal, strodes away like he owns it

• Nolon offers her a drink, Jack gives Violet a nod, Violet drugged :(, varrish arrives

Chapter 35:

• Excerpt: the only thing worse than an inntinnsic is a truth sayer

• Nolon asks for answers, how, who and why she did it.

• Truth sayer knows if she's lying not makes her tell the truth, I would lose this game.

• Liam shows up, sent by malek, do you think she talking out loud to him :(

• Dain arrives, 5 days later

• Dain asks for the weapon and kills Varrish.

• Xaden arrives post 💀 spree.

Chapter 36:

• Xaden shadows loose composure seeing her

• Bad ass xaden moment having her take out Varrish... he assists her 😭

• She blames herself, he said he would watch Aretia burn off it means she lives, and finally says he loves her.

• She says "i do love you" "glad you didn't forget" lol

• "When you're a mother, talk to me"

• Tyrrish custom for his scars, Vi reflects on Xadens actions as his deal with lilith, xaden's love foundation crumbling from the news of the deal.

• Sorrengail's walk or fly off the flight field, no hug good bye.

• Leaving means dragons need to take their hatchlings.

• Solas didn't die, andarna still sleeping

• Brennan hugs her, overwhelmed by the increase of people and dragons.
