Have the majority of the rich forgotten what it means to be an American? Tonight, we’ll be asking our callers to tell us what they think “being American” means to them, and what they are doing to allow others to share in that dream. What if you built up your wealth to have millions in the bank (or off shore accounts or your mattress), what would you believe was your obligation to your country? How would you pay your fair share? (Would you?) How would you mentor or inspire others to do the same? (again, would you?) In the olden days, immigrating to America meant getting a foothold, and reaching back for those who needed assistance in making the journey. Today, the elite wealthy of our country have gotten rich off of the sweat of the middle and lower classes, yet seem quite content to hoard their new-found wealth for themselves.
