Four years later, is Coffee Party everything you hoped it would be? 9 PM EST

Press [1] for Democracy (P1FD) is a Coffee Party Radio show that discusses the political issues of the day in a civil, fact-based, and transpartisan manner. Transpartisan is quite different from bi- or non-partisan in the fact that we encourage callers to be passionate about their position, but to listen to those with differing opinions with repsect and a true desire to find common ground on which solutions can be built. Tonight on P1FD, Four years ago yesterday, a movement was born based largely on the asking of two questions. When did our neighbors suddenly become our mortal enemies? And when did our government stop listening to The People that it was supposed to be serving in favor of special moneyed interests? Virtually overnight, Coffee Party had hundreds of thousands of answers. Now, fast forward four years. To those of you who were around at the very beginning we ask this: Is Coffee Party USA everything you hoped it would be? If not where has it fallen short of your expectations and what would you like to do about it (we need your help to do anything)? And to the extent that it has met your expectations, how can we amplify our good works? Tonight on Press [1] for Democracy, we’ll be taking your calls in answer to these questions in trying to determine if Coffee Party USA is being effective, or if we need to upgrade to Coffee Party 2.0.
