Ep. 789: Update on a 7-Year Walk Around the World - Tom Turcich

World walking: Tom Turcich's 7-year journey starting April 2, 2015 from New Jersey, trekking across seven continents inspired by his friend AnneMarie's passing, adopting dog Savannah in Texas who has crossed every border with him, nearing completion with just Denver to New Jersey left, making Savannah the first dog to walk around the world.

On April 2nd, 2015 Tom Turcich left his home in New Jersey to embark on what he originally planned to be a 5-year trek across the seven continents. After 7 years of walking, Tom is nearly complete with just the stretch from Denver to New Jersey left to finish!

The dream of walking around the world formed at seventeen after his friend AnneMarie passed. Since her death, Tom decided to make the most of each day and live his life to the absolute fullest.

In Texas, he adopted a dog, Savannah, and the two have crossed every border together ever since. Savannah will soon become the first dog to walk around the world.
