574: Military Base Portals and Glitches

In Episode 574, we are thrilled to have Nick, the curator behind the renowned Instagram page "Tales From The Gridsquare," back on the show. As a soldier himself, Nick runs an account dedicated to collecting and sharing spine-chilling accounts from veterans about their eerie encounters on military bases and battlefields worldwide. You might be surprised to learn that enemy fire is just one facet of what our military personnel contend with.

Nick and I get into a captivating discussion about the baffling occurrences in the vicinity of the notorious military base known as 29 Palms. Get ready to explore tales of unexplained phenomena, including portals, time warps, and unsettling glitches in the fabric of reality, all of which are intertwined with this military installation. It's worth noting that 29 Palms is in close proximity to Joshua Tree, a location once featured in one of our most amazing stories here on The Confessionals, episode 512: Desert Portal Death Cult. James recounted his surreal night, filled with encounters with cloaked figures, ritual circles, vampires, demons, and glowing green portals. As we explore the mysteries of this region, one can't help but wonder why it seems to be a magnet for such inexplicable phenomena.

In the Overtime for today's show, we will be getting into reports that Nick has received regarding giants in Afghanistan. Many believe the giant of Kandahar was an isolated incident relegated to a myth or legend. Still, Nick presents stories that revive the notion of giants living and thriving in today's world, shedding light on how they coexist among those who reside in Afghanistan.
