FRPS is an Occupational Issue

FRPS is an Occupational Issue

Welcome to 2026's re-recording of an old podcast. I review my belief that first responder psychological support truly is an occupational issue, a safety necessity and value, and a way to reduce: 1) destructive behaviors on/off the job, 2) psych-injuries, moral injuries, and physical injuries, 3) on-the-job errors, and 4) suicide ideations, attempts, and completions. However, we need psychological safety to be as integrated in these professions as physical safety. It's going to take a talented and diverse professional team. www.selfcarepath.com
