133 - Paying for the Bills

In this episode, Julie brings to the mic and to Savannah her frustration about the hundreds of anti-Trans, anti-Drag, and anti-LGBTQIA+ bills currently under review or in committee in almost every legislative state house in the United States. From a handful of bill written up and introduced in 2018 to almost four hundred active bills introduced since then, the attacks on the queer community continues to rage on. Fueled by hate, anger, fear, religious morales, and a distracting attempt by those in power to make it seem like they are being productive and working on behalf of their constituents, each bill needs to be attacked at every level before they chip away at our rights for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

SAVANNAH HAUK is the author of “Living with Crossdressing: Defining a New Normal” and “Living with Crossdressing: Discovering your True Identity“. While both focus on the male-to-female (mtf) crossdresser, “Defining a New Normal” delves into crossdressing and relationships and “Discovering Your True Identity” looks at the individual crossdressing journey.
