Poem #1: "The Curve" - Akash Patel

Seek out the slope

At the top lies a peak

A steeper curve awaits

An unforgettable place

Your arena

Your stage

At the bottom, you can find comfort

An armchair or two

Below that, you'll find regret

a path of no stress

but seek out the slope

there may be pain, certainly failings

but as that peak approaches

you'll find no regrets

only fullness

stay on the path

stay on that curve.

Poem two: "The Curve Part Two" - Josh Lynott

I find my feet on the part that's steep,

There is little space for others to meet.

I yeard to stand where I am

A position I fought for and will to the end.

Smile, laugh, hurt, wish, cry, or complain.

Choose your elixir without disdain.

The curve is where you belong,

But it's your choice to play along.

I want you to fall and slide

It's the best place to know you're alive.

Kick the curb, stand on the curve

That's the one place you'll truly learn.
