"Honey Pot" - Josh Lynott

today,

the honey pot has its own religion.

it is as amberas sugar turned caramel

i stirred on the stove.


i think

of diving in

to slow

and slow

then melt.


i think

of the sweetness inside,

i desire.


as though

in a dream like this

love oozes

round and

round again.


Strategy:

Pre-planning:

  • Know what feeling you are working towards.
  • Understand the risk you are taking and what discomfort you are willing to choose.
  • Build an acceptance plan of/for this suffering.


Future planning:

  • What systems do you have in order?
  • What appointments can you book in for the future?
  • What friends can you catch up with?

Buffer Period:

  • How can you be kind to yourself in this time?
  • What are your unique pillars of well-being?
  • What appointments do you need to book in?

Integration period:

  • How can I move slowly throughout this time?
  • What is something small I can implement daily to make this change sustainable?
  • How can I re-align my "life symmetry?"

Embrace Challenge:

  • What are light challenges I can take on that will help stimulate my brain and create new neural pathways?
