When Tango Becomes Your Home: conversation with Scott Boddye

In this episode, I chat with Scott Boddye, a tango dancer who traded stability for the open road and never looked back. What started as a temporary escape after COVID turned into a full-time nomadic life, with tango as both his anchor and his passport.

We talk about the highs and lows of being a tango traveler, the transformation that comes with leaving everything behind, and the unexpected ways tango shapes identity. Scott also shares the vision behind Mundo Tango, the new platform he’s building to help dancers connect across the world.

Would you ever consider a nomadic tango life? Or do you prefer having a home base? Let’s banter about it—drop a comment below!
