All-Jersey dairy herd, produced nearly 35,000 lbs (3,000 gallons) of milk per day
450 acre farm: double-12 herringbone parlor, a free stall barn, grows 500 acres of corn and grass silage, and includes open pasture for grazing
What methods do you use to farm with Derrick’s parents, Don and Desi?
Past 15 years - extensive renovations (infrastructure, reduce labor, and relocate the milking parlor out of the flood plain)
