Alison, Maartje and Anne | Part 1: Terror on the Tracks

Alison, Maartje and Anne | Part 1: Terror on the Tracks

When multiple women and children were raped in and around London's railway network during the early 1980s, detectives initially believed one man was responsible.

They didn't realise that two men had committed the horrific acts and that their sadistic tendencies would soon turn to murder.

In this two-part series, I discuss what became the nation’s biggest manhunt since the Peter Sutcliffe inquiry.

This first part focuses on the women assaulted, raped and murdered by the story’s perpetrators, with part 2 focusing on the perpetrators themselves.

S06E02 | Rosdeep Adekoya | The Murder of Mikaeel Kular

In the second episode of British Murders Season 6, I tell the tragic story of the murder of Mikaeel Kular. In January 2014, 3-year-old Mikaeel passed away through the night due to several days' worth of beatings from his mother, Rosdeep Adekoya.Rather than take Mikaeel to the doctor, Rosdeep kept him at home as she feared the bruises all over his body would raise suspicions.Initially, Rosdeep told the story that Mikaeel had disappeared through the night and urged the police and public to help her find him. They had no idea Rosdeep had buried him inside a suitcase in the woods of Fife.Rosdeep was handed an 11-year jail sentence in August 2014 after being found guilty of culpable homicide and was released from prison in April 2021.⁣⁣For all things British Murders, please visit my website:⁣https://www.britishmurders.com/⁣Intro music:⁣David John Brady - 'Throw Down the Gauntlet'⁣https://linktr.ee/davidjohnbradymusic⁣My recording equipment:⁣Shure SM7B Vocal MicrophoneCloud Microphone Cloudlifter CL1Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB Audio InterfaceRode PSA-1 Professional Studio Boom ArmRecorded in:⁣Hindenberg PROEdited in:⁣DaVinci Resolve 17⁣References:⁣www.britishmurders.com/rosdeepadekoya/ Learn more about your ad choices.
