Here we go...An introduction to the notorious clan known as the Peaky Blinders. While all over the world we are celebrating the work of Cillian Murphy, it only felt right to dive into one of his most legendary roles as Tommy Shelby.

I decided to recap and introduce the first episode for those who may have not seen it (what are you doing, go watch it immediately). Set in 1919 Birmingham, England we start after WWI to see what the Shelby family has been up to and how they continue their reign in Small Heath.

I get into this rich story that has historical origins, the subtlety of the action, and the character development that will inevitably stand the test of time.
