Virginia McCullough: MURDERED By Our Daughter

Virginia McCullough: MURDERED By Our Daughter

In this episode of "I Could Murder A Podcast," we delve into the chilling case of Virginia McCullough, a British woman who brutally murdered her parents and lived with their bodies for four years. In June 2019, McCullough poisoned her father, John, with prescription medication and, the following day, killed her mother, Lois, by bludgeoning and stabbing her. She concealed their bodies within their Essex home—her father's in a makeshift tomb and her mother's in a wardrobe. For years, McCullough deceived family, friends, and authorities about her parents' whereabouts, all while continuing to withdraw their pensions and engage in significant online gambling. The gruesome discovery was made in September 2023 after missed medical appointments raised concerns, leading to police intervention. McCullough was arrested and, in October 2024, sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 36 years.
