The Art of the Dealership

The Art of the Dealership

Today - John talks about the economy continuing to reel under the Trump regime, the deal he is making for a ceasefire in Ukraine with Putin, and his new Tesla commercial he made for First Lady Elon Musk in front of the White House. Then, he welcomes back Professor Corey Brettschneider to talk about the illegal ICE arrest of activist Mahmoud Kalil, a former student at Columbia University and researcher in machine learning at the University of Connecticut. Next, he interviews political scientist and election forecaster turned political strategist - Rachel Bitecofer to discuss the growing Trump resistance and her new book "Hit 'Em Where It Hurts: How to Save Democracy by Beating Republicans at Their Own Game". And finally, John chats with Jessica Denson who is known for her pioneering legal work invalidating Trump’s infamous and illegal NDA in court. In the Lights On podcast, Jessica has made it her mission to expose the lies and demand accountability for would-be dictators in America. On March 14th, Jessica is joining thousands of Americans in Washington DC for a protest against the looming tyranny of the Trump/Musk administration – inspired to march on the Capitol by the words of the 14th Amendment:

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”
