#3 Karma Rinpoche – Life of a Yogi in a Modern World

Have you ever had a conversation with a Tibetan Lama? A really deep and an honest conversation? This is exactly what we are going to do today. Our guest is Karma Lhatrul Dorji Rinpoche – a reincarnated Tibetan Master from Bhutan.

Karma Rinpoche began his path of spiritual enlightenment at the age of 3. As a toddler he recalled his past life as a Tibetan Teacher and his parents brought him to the monastery in North-East India to meet his master - H.H. Terton Kunzang Dechen Lingpa Rinpoche. Lama Terton immediately recognized Karma Rinpoche as a reincarnation and adopted him as his heart son, taught him for many years the essence of Tibetan Teachings and eventually transmitted the teachings of his lineage.

Karma Rinpoche is not your regular lama. He is rather direct, very modern and some could say rather controversial. While being a very solid and dedicated practitioner of Dharma, he is also an established and well known filmmaker, who won many prizes in Bhutan Film Festival for his movies “Tshorwa”, “The Row” and “The Wind of Karma”, and already considered to be one of the best film directors in the Bhutanese film industry.

Karma Rinpoche is joining us today to enlighten us about spirituality, to demystify what people call “tantra” and to explain what it means to practice nonduality in our modern life.
