Alex McKellar from Sunday Night Lights by Top Split TV - Locked on iRacing (Ep.14)

The team sits down with Alex McKellar, the man behind Sunday Night Lights, the Strength of field race for Formula Skip Braber in iRacing, and Top Split TV. We have a chat about the story that got Alex to the point he currently finds himself in his life, including video games, sports, and mixed martial arts. We get to hear how a boy from Bathurst who has never been to the Bathurst 1000 got into motorsports and how that has shaped his life.

Alex then tells how Sunday night lights, formally Monday night lights, came about and how it came to fall on him to look after all these years later. There are many stories here about some of the best drivers in the world coming through the series and how the best Skip Barber drivers have found themselves battling it out week after week in the strength of the field, which is now bordering on 5000 each week.

We then get to hear the story behind Top Split TV and the friendship formed between themselves and Team Milo to create a wall of green at the front of the Ozicar Formula series every week. Finally, we get a taste of what it is like to broadcast for iRacing and what is to come in that respect for Top Split TV.
