The Past Lives Podcast Ep102 – Mark Gober

This week I talking to Mark Gober about his book 'An End To Upside Down Thinking' and his podcast 'Where Is My Mind?'.

Mark Gober is a best-selling author and international speaker, a Partner at Sherpa Technology Group in Silicon Valley, a former New York investment banker, and a magna cum laude graduate from Princeton where he was the tennis team captain.

In late 2016, his worldview was turned upside down when he was exposed to word-changing science. His best-selling book 'An End To Upside Down Thinking: Dispelling the Myth That the Brain Produces Consciousness, and the Implications for Everyday Life' summarizes an important body of research for mainstream readers. Accolades for this book range from Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Ervin Laszlo, to former Harvard neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander, to actress Goldie Hawn, and beyond.

Mark is also the host of the new hit podcast Where Is My Mind?, and he sits on the Board of Directors of the world’s leading consciousness research organizations, The Institute of Noetic Sciences. Mark has been all over the media to discuss these ideas, appearing on Coast to Coast AM, The Model Health Show with Shawn Stevenson, the nationally televised PBS show Between the Lines, and much more. The ideas Mark discusses touch on core questions about who and what we are as human beings, which ultimately impacts how we act in the world – whether it be in the workplace or in relationships. The comforting worldview implied by Mark’s findings, combined with his articulate and engaging speaking style, will enable improved decision-marking, enhanced performance, and a greater sense of empowerment that is sure to transform lives.

'An End To Upside Down Thinking: Dispelling the Myth That the Brain Produces Consciousness, and the Implications for Everyday Life'
Consciousness creates all material reality. Biological processes do not create consciousness. This conceptual breakthrough turns traditional scientific thinking upside down. In An End to Upside Down Thinking, Mark Gober traces his journey – he explores compelling scientific evidence from a diverse set of disciplines, ranging from psychic phenomena, to near-death experiences, to quantum physics. With cutting-edge thinkers like two-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Ervin Laszlo, Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences Dr. Dean Radin, and New York Times bestselling author Larry Dossey, MD supporting this thesis, this book will rock the scientific community and mainstream generalists interested in understanding the true nature of reality.

Today’s disarray around the globe can be linked, at its core, to a fundamental misunderstanding of our reality. This book aims to shift our collective outlook, reshaping our view of human potential and how we treat one another. The book’s implications encourage much-needed revisions in science, technology, and medicine. General readers will find comfort in the implied worldview, which will impact their happiness and everyday decisions related to business, health and politics. Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time meets Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now.
