Helpsy Health: Integrative Nursing, Innovation, & Advancing Patient Care

Today, we’re talking about Integrative Nursing, patient care, and technology with Sangeeta Agarawal, RN, MS, CAS, Founder and CEO of Helpsy Health. Helpsy Health is an app that provides cancer patients, interested in a whole health approach, with an AI nurse that anticipates and addresses their physical, emotional and social needs. Along with her duties at Helpsy, Sangeeta is a symptom management researcher and cancer nurse, research and clinical, at the University of California San Francisco Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. Prior to that Sangeeta was a cancer nurse leader at the Stanford Cancer Center, hematology/oncology nurse at the Mayo Clinic, and a software engineer. If you use mobile video technology, you have her to thank for that. ◘ Related Content Helpsy Health https://helpsyhealth.com/ Video: A deep dive on the Helpsy Health platform and app Sangeeta gave at a 2018 Society of Physician Entrepreneurs InnovatorMD event https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFiEo37L4u0 Integrative Nursing: Application of Principles Across Clinical Settings https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4422455/ The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health broadens network to include Schools of Nursing https://mailchi.mp/imconsortium/academic-consortiums-leaps-program-now-accepting-applications-4964586?e=cd672d63cf ◘ Transcript https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/transcript-helpsy-health-integrative-nursing-patient-gw-office-of/?published=t ◘ This podcast features the song “Follow Your Dreams” (freemusicarchive.org/music/Scott_Ho…ur_Dreams_1918) by Scott Holmes, available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial (01https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/) license. ◘ Disclaimer: The content and information shared in GW Integrative Medicine is for educational purposes only and should not be taken as medical advice.
