The future of neurorehabilitation - S03 E11

In this week’s episode, Dr Samantha Siyambalapitiya, senior lecturer from Griffith University, speaks with Professor Swathi Kiran, Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences and the Associate Dean for Research at the College for Health and Rehabilitation at Boston University. They discuss Professor Kiran's work in the area of aphasia, bilingual aphasia and brain plasticity. Professor Kiran is a key note speaker at the upcoming 2021 Speech Pathology Australia National Conference. Speech Pathology Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of lands, seas and waters throughout Australia, and pay respect to Elders past, present and future. We recognise that the health and social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are grounded in continued connection to culture, country, language and community.
