In this week's episode, I share an extraordinary story from a man named Dale who experienced something truly remarkable in the North Georgia mountains during the summer of 1983. What began as an innocent fishing and camping trip for two fourteen-year-old boys turned into an encounter that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.Dale's story takes us down the Chattooga River, where he and his childhood friend Brad embarked on what should have been a straightforward seven-day journey. Armed with fishing gear, a fourteen-foot flat-bottom aluminum boat, and the confidence of youth, they set off into the wilderness, unaware of what awaited them.
