Aliens or Angels? The Clarke Sisters’ UFO Encounter

Two respected nuns at Clarke College witnessed something that would challenge everything they believed. For 30 minutes, Clarke Sisters Mary Justa and Mary Xavier documented a cigar-shaped UFO performing impossible maneuvers above Dubuque, Iowa in 1965.

Join Cristina Gomez (@CristinaG) as we research everything from medieval monasteries to modern temples, religious figures have long been witnesses to the unexplainable. We'll explore the 1254 St. Albans Abbey sighting, where a monk recorded a "marvelous" ship-like craft, Chan Buddhist monk Hsu Yun's 1884 encounter with splitting light orbs, and the famous 1917 Fátima miracle. Our journey continues through Father William Booth Gill's remarkable 1959 Papua New Guinea case, where 37 witnesses observed humanoid figures, and concludes with the 2015 Buddhist temple CCTV footage that captured a shape-shifting object.
