In Conversation with Ryan White: The Prank Show Murder of Kim Jong-nam
On the 13th of February 2017, the world witnessed the most high profile political assassination in decades when Kim Jong-nam was exposed to a deadly nerve agent known as VX in the centre of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The two women who killed the exiled half-brother of Kim Jon-un, claimed they had been tricked and that they thought they were taking part in a Japanese YouTube prank show. We had the amazing opportunity to talk to Ryan White about the case and his new film Assassins, that follows the two legal teams who fought to save the two women (Siti Aisyah and Đoàn Thị Hươn) from Malaysia's mandatory death penalty for murder. The video version of this interview is available on Patreon for all $10+ Patrons and Assasins is out now on multiple platforms.
