S3 Ep9: Mass Murder in the Skies

S3 Ep9: Mass Murder in the Skies

This week's episode takes us back to 24 March 2015. On this day, Germanwings flight 9525 took off from Barcelona Airport with 144 passengers on board, together with four crew and two pilots, bound for Dusseldorf. Half an hour in to the flight, Captain Patrick Sondenheimer left the cockpit to go to the bathroom. His co-pilot, First Officer Andreas Lubitz, locked the cockpit door from the inside, before plunging the plane in to a terrifying ten minute descent. As the plane hurtled towards the ground at 440mph, Captain Sondenheimer screamed at Lubitz to let him back in to the cockpit. When his demands went unanswered, he attacked the cockpit door with an axe in front of screaming passengers, but it was all in vain. Before he could regain control of the plane, Lubitz smashed it in to the side of a mountain, deep in the French Alps, killing everyone on board.  Learn more about your ad choices. S3 Ep6: The Chillenden Murders

S3 Ep6: The Chillenden Murders

This week Mark takes a deep dive in to the Chillenden Murders. In 1996, Lin Russell was walking her two daughters, Josie and Megyn, home from school in the Kent countryside on a sunny July afternoon. When a hammer-wielding maniac approached demanding money, Lin's maternal instincts kicked in, telling her daughters to run for their lives. What happened next would leave two of them dead and one of them with a four inch metal plate in their skull. A tragic story of bravery over adversity. S3 Ep5: Evelyn Foster

S3 Ep5: Evelyn Foster

Hello you lot! This week, the bitch is back! Sorry Bethan! For one week only (until her return in a couple of months time) my gorgeous co-host is gracing us with her dulcet tones! Join Bethan as she talks us through the disturbing death of 28-year-old Evelyn Foster. This is a case that takes us back in time - to the 1930's and to a time when we had rubbish sound quality! Apologies for the sound on this, I have the good mic right now, so Bethan recorded on our old one. It's worth sticking with it though because it's a really interesting case! S3 Ep4: The Murder of Billie-Jo Jenkins

S3 Ep4: The Murder of Billie-Jo Jenkins

Join me this week as I take a deep dive in to the murder of Billie-Jo Jenkins... Born in the East End of London, Billie-Jo's early years were blighted by an alcoholic mother and an absent father. Hers was a life where love and affection were replaced with neglect and contempt. When she was taken in by the Jenkins family at the age of 9, it looked as though her life was about to a corner however... That was until one Saturday afternoon in February 1997, when she was bludgeoned to death in her back garden... Just who would want to kill this innocent teenager? And why?
