Create a Competitive Advantage Through The Art of Networking with Jordan Harbinger

Create a Competitive Advantage Through The Art of Networking with Jordan Harbinger

My guest today was named by Forbes one of the 50 best relationship builders and Inc Magazine dubbed him the Larry King of podcasting! He is a former Wall Street lawyer who gave it all up to pursue the business of relationship-building, and there is no one more qualified to teach us a thing or two about sales, influence, persuasion, negotiation and networking...skills all of which he has mastered and used to impact millions of lives around the world. In 2006, he co-founded the Art of Charm and became one of the most dominant and long-lasting Podcasting personalities in the marketplace. He built his audience to more than 4 million downloads per month, and his new show, which he started from scratch in 2018, was quickly named Best of Apple and now generates more than 6.1M downloads per month (which is incredible). None of this should be a surprise given his extraordinary work ethic and his social dynamics skills...skills which helped him close and interview some of the biggest names and personalities on the planet including the late Kobe Bryant, Ray Dalio, Malcolm Gladwell, Dennis Rodman, T.I. Harris and Mark Cuban, just to name a few. He speaks 5 languages including Mandarin Chinese and Serbian, and believe it or not, he used to run a business giving tours of North Korea. He's been kidnapped twice on 2 different continents and he’ll tell you the only reason he’s still alive is because of his ability to sell his way into (and out of), just about any type of situation. He's created a play book on sales, influence, persuasion, negotiation and he has been tapped to speak and present at some of the biggest companies in the world such as Google, Apple, Twitter and Square, and he has given talks on security, social engineering, and psychology at places such as Blackhat, Def Con, and Harvard business School.

7 Figure Sales In A Bad Market - with Taylor Welch

7 Figure Sales In A Bad Market - with Taylor Welch

Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a top business owner/top salesperson in your industry, the one who makes all the money, who gets the promotions and all the respect? My guest today built three businesses from the ground up over the course of several years--but not as many as you’d think. In just four years, Traffic and Funnels--a high-level business coaching and workshop firm--grew from zero to 8 figures. In less than one year, Wealth Cap Holdings--a real estate investment firm--did the same. Within 15 months, SalesMentor - his sales consultancy, grew from nothing to multiple 7-figures per year. He attributes most of his success to his early desire to be one of the best in the sales game. Now he’s on a mission to share what he’s learned with other sales professionals and business owners around the world. Most importantly, though, Taylor’s family is his first priority. They mean more to him than any business…

Better Relationships, Communication, Rapport & Loyalty = Better Sales - with Frank Somma

Better Relationships, Communication, Rapport & Loyalty = Better Sales - with Frank Somma

My guest today focuses on why some salespeople do it better than others - why some languish, while others seem to outperform everyone else, naturally. When he began to sell professionally and eventually manage salespeople, he became obsessed with learning the answer to this. His lifelong pursuit of understanding “The Sales Gene” was born. His sales chops were developed in his first B2B sales job at Western Union Telegraph where he made President's club in his very first year. His sales leadership expertise was developed during his long tenure as VP of sales for CBS, an office automation company in New York.  He holds a degree in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and he has been speaking professionally for over 15 years, winning accolades from such notable companies as DLL Bank, GE, Xerox, and K Hovnanian.

Objective Based Selling - with Tibor Shanto

Objective Based Selling - with Tibor Shanto

My guest today started in B2B sales in the 1980’s, around the same time fax machines were the height of communications.  He started off on the phone, and has held almost every possible role in sales over the years. He works with companies of all sizes, helping them improve and achieve their revenue goals. People have labeled him “a brilliant sales tactician”, which is fine by him, as he truly believes that success in sales is all about Execution! Everything else is just talk; and “apparently” there is no shortage of “talk” according to him in sales. :-)  This is why his work is focused on helping sales teams and organizations better execute their sales process. With a laser focus on metrics and process, he helps clients improve critical aspects of their sales cycle, including: aligning the buyer process, removing redundancies to shorten their cycles, increasing close ratios, and creating double digit growth through the execution of strategy and through tactical execution. He also helps improve adoption, and by extension, the behavioral change required for ongoing improvement in execution and results.
