The Sweet Spot is a traveling stage performance show that is a celebration of sex positivity, erotica, relationships, comedy, and erotic arts, including dance and poetry and fictional readings. The show is the longest, biggest running Black Burlesque Variety show in the US. After 17 years they are still growing strong and adding in new content for their audience. The creative and unique show is about sex, sexuality, erotic poetry, burlesque dance, and erotica fiction. The performers create and write their own content, and even design and make their own costumes. They topics they celebrate on the show include reclaiming sensuality/sexuality, navigating boundaries, and intimacy, empowerment through expression, and a candid conversation beyond the sheets. The also showcase different acts on the show including, but not limited to, Shibari rope tying, burlesque romance, erotic poetry, tease routines, comedy games, BDSM demos, edutainment, and of course, music is a big part of the show so there's a D.J.
