Jake Hanrahan is a conflict journalist, documentary filmmaker and the founder of Popular Front. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going for a week but it's felt like a year. Social media, YouTube and news channels have been awash with stories from on the ground and even the Wikipedia page has had over 500 contributors and is more than 20,000 words long. I wanted to find out what life is actually like on the ground in Ukraine from someone who's been there.
