E8 - Success, Significance and Extending Others in Leadership with Chris Cowan

E8: Interview with Chris Cowan

Chris is the Chief of the Cayce Police Department (South Carolina, US) and has worked across the globe serving and protecting the communities that he has worked within.

In this interview with Chris we explore how valuable it is to not only challenge ourselves but also surround ourselves with people who are open to challenging us so we can revise our hard wiring. We discussed the ability to change what we see as our hard wiring and how when we consider ourselves as corporate athletes we can serve ourselves in a way that will allow us to effectively serve others.

Chris talks about how everyone sees things through a different lense and that great benefits come from hunting for the good in others. When our purpose is aligned with mentoring, growing an supporting others, we have the ability to create positive change and in some cases raise people up to an elevation where they get to experience 'rare air'.
