St. Louis' emergency management chief has been placed on administrative leave after sirens meant to sound during a tornado warning failed to be activated before a deadly tornado tore through the city on Friday. The Pentagon said it has accepted a Boeing jet as a gift from Qatar that will be retrofitted and used to transport President Trump. The Justice Department is moving to dismiss lawsuits and proposed consent decrees against police in Louisville and Minneapolis. The police chief of Minneapolis says he is focused on building trust and reducing crime as the city still heals from George Floyd’s killing.
