The Coney Island of the West...Luna Park.
Seattle at the start of the 20th Century was a complicated City, with changing landscapes and conflicted political views. But just outside of the city, a Glittering Sea of lights, amusement park rides and strange & bizarre acts, was Luna Park. Opened in 1907, Luna Park had a successful run until it finally closed its doors for good in 1913. Today, you can still see a small glimpse of the park when the tides are low enough.
