Somatic Sex Therapy with Chiara

This week's episode of Messy Truths is a sensual one, because the ladies talk all things somatic sex with very special guest Chiara who joined us from Italy. Chiara is the founder of www.IntimaSeeCoaching.com which is a somatic sex and intimacy practice based in the Netherlands, and she gets candid about dirty talk, touch and igniting senses to create an enhanced sexual experience.

In episode 42, Chiara begins by explaining the definition of somatic sex and how she became an educator (1:56). She reveals how women and men react differently to her practice (14:50). She also talks about the importance of knowing your body intimately for pleasure points and how resentment can be a major intimacy killer (18:32).

Then, Chiara discusses the importance of safe spaces so people feel less shame and more empowerment about kinks and overall sexual desires (30:36). She believes the ultimate goal of sex should be pleasure and not just orgasms. The ladies discuss nudity and how the language we use about ourselves affect our sexual experience (47:08). The ladies also get into how senses like taste and smell can affect sexual experience (01:12:00).
