Self-Management: It’s 1 of 4 “Emotional Intelligence” components. Self Management: Sometimes also referred to as Self regulation or self control. It is the ability to use your self awareness to manage or control your emotions and behaviour in the various scenarios most especially in stressful or tense situations. It is also how you adapt to the situation at hand without and turning the negative impulsive emotions to positive ones.

Am not saying hide your true feelings, but it’s more about self control and waiting for the right time and place to express your emotions without harming yourself and other people.

As people it’s normal for us to have emotions but it’s up to us to control how we express them. You have choice to behave positively.
