S4: E44 Take the Masks Off

S4: E44 Take the Masks Off

It has officially been one year that we have been at home, working full time while teaching our children virtually, managing our homes, spending time with family member via zoom, and everything else on our plate. And, when we have been asked the question, "how are you?" our response is, "all is well!" When really, everything is not well. We are stressed, overwhelmed, tired, lack energy, lack patience, and the list continues to go on. We wear a mask when we talk and see others, but in reality, we are drowning.

In today's episode of The Latika Vines Show, our guest, Kadine Cooper, shares her personal experience in wearing a mask and how she was able to take it off. She shares how working moms can take the mask off with three strategies:

  1. Define your Mask
  2. Identify the Reason You Are Wearing a Mask
  3. Ways You Can Take the Mask Off

One notable mention Kadine shared was that Some Will. Some Won't. So What. We can not continue to do or care what others want, when we are suffering on the inside. We have to do what will make us fulfilled, successful, and happy.
