Join Eric and Doug as we sit down with social impact entertainment entrepreneur Kristin Nobles and filmmaker Christine Torres to talk about breast implant illness (BII), a condition comprising an array of symptoms which can result in autoimmune and connective tissue disorders and cancer, among other serious illnesses. For years, women with breast implants have suffered from many different painful and debilitating conditions, seeking treatment, but not knowing the cause of their sickness. Only in the last year have the FDA and the medical community begun to acknowledge BII. Kristin shares her story of the series of numerous illnesses she's battled since first getting breast implants 18 years ago and how her health got significantly worse since having her implants replaced with a purportedly safer product which has since been recalled. After bravely fighting for her life, enduring multiple surgeries and frequent hospitalization, Kristin has dedicated herself to help other women similarly struggling. As part of this effort, Kristin, Christine Torres, co-host Eric Morris, and others are making a documentary to raise awareness about BII and build a community offering guidance and support.
